Sierra Pacific Power is offering its 2008 Heating Rebate Program for homebuilders who install gas furnaces or boilers. In order to qualify for the rebate, homebuilders must have their new equipment properly installed by a participating HVAC contractor.

To qualify for rebates:
- All work and equipment purchases must be completed after September 15, 2007.
- Homebuilders must meet the minimum efficiencies in AFUE ( annual fuel utilization efficiency) if installing a gas furnace or gas boiler.
- Your participating, licensed HVAC contractor ( please read this disclaimer) must do the installation.
- Rebates are to promote energy efficiency and conservation and are not intended to cover the complete cost of equipment or services.
General Requirements:
A participating, licensed HVAC contractor must be used in order to qualify. Gas furnaces require a minimum of 90 AFUE and gas boilers require a minimum of 85 AFUE to qualify for a rebate.The equipment rebates are as follows:
